Recurring commission
A recurring commission pays the affiliate again each time a customer they referred renews a subscription. Programs set how long: first payment only, a number of months, or for the life of the customer.
Also called: lifetime commission, subscription commission, renewal commission.
Worked example: $100 a month, 20%, a 12-month period

In more detail
The renewal is credited to whoever brought the first payment, without a new click. That is why subscription programs need the subscription id on every renewal.
